Started up a firebreak and found a new-seeming ATV track in it. This veered left and then went most of way to summit, meanderingly. Came back down direct through chest-high bracken. Had to hurry for Kilchoan ferry after. Sunny – had been raining earlier. | Rounsfell | 20/08/2022 |

Up the firebreak from NM462480 or through the trees next to it - parking in back of passing bay - steep section above trees to reach summit area. A fairly easy ascent. | Chris Peart | 11/11/2019 |
There is an absolutely simple and straightforward route up this hill to give a pleasant enough walk. Room to park on a grassy verge W of the cattle grid by a gate above a sheepfold 455485ish. Good grassy sheep tracks lead NWish through bracken reaching a bracken-free grassy valley after a few yards, then head up NE parallel with and well above the fence (sheep tracks), across a volcanic dyke, a shallow grassy valley, then contour 2 deeper stream valleys, then follow deer tracks by the fence to the top of the ridge SE of pt254. Continue to 465494 past trees to climb the deer fence into an open area which leads along the ridge to the summit. Just after climbing the fence, contour below a small bump on very old unplanted forestry trenches above the trees, then stroll easily along the top of the ridge, cross a very small section of hags on good deer tracks and continue to the summit. Mainly easy going, not too steep, no pushing through trees, but slightly longer than other ways | Gill | 22/09/2019 |
Up the forest road to 48172 46658 then up through forest, zig zagging to push through onto the open hill at 47782 47109. On the way down not too easy to find the return route even with GPS coordinates. It's a little brute of a hill. 6.3k - 1 hour 55 mins. There may be easier routes. | NormanW | 07/08/2019 |
Parked in (new) turning circle for logging roads a few hundred metres east of Achnacraig. Walked up road to old track into trees, but could have taken newer road from where I parked as the two meet later. Scrambled uphill between two burns and headed up through trees, finally coming out onto open hillside to reach the summits (furthest west is highest). | the pigguy | 12/05/2019 |

Good parking place about 300m S.East of Achnacraig. Up from the farm keeping to the right edge of the forest and occasionally in it. At the top of the ride a decent walk to the summits. Walked across all 4 potential tops to make sure. Great views. With CM. | bolton | 27/08/2018 |
Parked about 400m SE of Achnacraig. plenty space. Up from the farm keeping to the right edge of the forest and occasionally in it. At the top of the ride a decent walk to the summits. Walked across all 5 contenders for the summit. With PM. | CJM | 27/08/2018 |
A run up and down from road in shorts----mistake. | lordtonult | 06/07/2018 |
From Achnacraig. From house head NE steeply up edge of wood and continue in same direction up a break in trees to reach the ridge. First part is rough but easier when once break in the trees is reached. Might not be easy when bracken is growing. | Winterfloodian | 25/05/2018 |

Should have been going to Staffa but cancelled due to wind. plenty of space to park where the forest RD heads off E of Achnacraig. Followed round further to E and then headed up. Very rough. Not much to see from summit as adjacent hills are higher. On way down went down a ride too early and had difficulty getting round the quarry at its foot. Nasty hill | Thearlaichdubh | 02/05/2016 |

Started in the open area if the forrest near the house, didn't go high enough through the trees so had to bash through some. No stones on to to so dud all high looking points.came back a different rout. Walked along the ridge down nearly until you hit more trees. Found a gap and ended on the other side of trees. Was looking for track shown on map but there was lot of steep ground but found a fairly good way down. | tallblond | 05/06/2015 |

With Jenx and Alison Fox. Parked at Achnachraig, just down road opp passing place room for two cars. Opposite building look up and right to skyline, gap in trees is what's to head for. Head towards right hand side trees and follow deer/people paths through some rocky ground. No stream today due to dry conditions. Suggest avoid when bracken is in its prime as will be a thrash. Up ride to top and then left to summit area, many false tops and surprisingly set back. Peak in distance to West looks higher but mapping says no, 1:25k and 1:50k although Abney level said it was higher albeit at some distance. Great summit on a clear day. | nordicstar | 25/04/2015 |

Nasty steep slope from Achnacraig through old bracken, brambles, you name it, till ridge gained and on to summit. Hard work for a small peak. | AndrewFinnimore | 12/10/2013 |

With Sail & Alfie. Came over from Cruachan Druim na Croise over a broken deer fence. Following the fence NE it is possible to access the north ridge without entering the forest. Passed a tiny Loch an then up to the double summit. No cairns. | Dangerous Dave | 13/11/2011 |

8.00 ferry to Oban to buy replacement Garmin GPS. 10.00 ferry back. Parked at cattle grid on Dervaig road. More bracken thrashing climbing steeply by forest fence. Around the top and downhill making for the narrowest point between forested areas near a stream. Found footprints leading down to stream and up the other side to daylight. Uphill over rough heather and scrub to top at 14.00. No cairn. 4 points competed for highest spot but none exactly fitted GPS or height criteria. | arranc | 04/09/2006 |
