| Across heather and through newly planted woodland from the Loch Doon cafe to Shear Hill and Carwaur. Then over similar terrain to Wee Hill of Glenmount. An increasing number of baby-heads to negotiate as I traipsed further south to take in Fence of Knockdon and the more interesting Doon of Waterhead, making use of ATV tracks and deer/sheep trods where these were available. | 10th hill of 11 today and penultimate hill of a 5 hill loop from Loch Bradan car park. I did a 5 hill loop from Straiton and an out and back to Genoch Inner. I climbed Tairlaw Hill South top, Craigh Dhu and Doon of Waterhead, back onto road and past the Waterwork station then direct ascent up easy pasture. Lovely hill with good views.
