From Ulva Ferry out track to Gometra. At top of hill past gallery headed down to wood then up side to deer track (they really do know the way). Followed track to about 150m from summit on short grass. Views to die for.SS07/06/2023
Walked out from Ulva. Met SS (log below) who advised on easy route to top following trods.daviemore07/06/2023
From the tidal island of Eilean Dioghlum with Dangerous Dave. Crossed the stile at 357416 and headed fairly easily to the summit. Descended the same way to avoid bracken etc. Headed to the 3 island tumps. The summit is a wonderful isolated area with great views.bolton01/06/2023
Simple walk up from gate in deer fence at field corner to the northwest. With bolton.Dangerous Dave01/06/2023
On RHSoc trip to Ulva and Gometra, walked along northern track over bridge up Torr Mor first then back to Col and found faint track going through vegetation and led to top. Back to bridge over the other two tumps. Good views on a clear day.PeterD25/03/2023

Been many a year coming getting out to visit here and today did not disappoint in the slightest with some great company and calm settled weather conditions to absorb it all in at leisure.Alex C25/03/2023
From Ulva Ferry by bike to spot height 63m then directly up to Beinn Chreagach. Back to bike then on to Gometra to climb highest point from the south. Back by bike.Winterfloodian02/05/2022

Early start from Ballachulish, 3 ferries, then lugged a sack full of goodies for a night at Bearnus bothy (AirBnB) via the church and lovely Minister's path. Tea and lunch, then off to Gometra. Fine walk along the track past JaneAnne's to the bend in the track and the conifer plantation. Clear animal tracks, perhaps a path, below pt 129, continue NE up the valley to the wall, then continue SW to pt 105. You could go straight up shitty heather or, better, continue SW on the track through heather round the end of the plateau, then NW through bracken and R at deer T junction to the wall, up N side, cross to S side below small crags to emerge on the plateau near the lochan, easy stroll to the top. Just follow the deer, they know the really easy way. Well worth staying on the island, beats cycling and rushing. Many deep puddles on the track, cycling would give a very damp bum.Gill10/06/2021
Cycled to and over bridge from Ulva And up to track HP. From here the best way is to make for the west corner of a small conifer plantation then find deer tracks through not too dense bracken. Views of Treshnish islands and on to Coll and Tiree.Topographer5730/09/2019
Bike from Ulva ferry. Road dry and easy going on a mountain bike, but the short sharp uphills soon add up. Ascent mainly by animal tracks from col above the graveyard. A southbound descent was bad news, deer fences, brambles and bog at the base of the hill. Excellent weather, 5hr round trip.fasgadh10/04/2019
Anchored in Gometra harbour with MVW, DR from main path then to summit Admiralty trigpoint, ground bit rough as no paths, finished in sort of circular walk. Very humid with some good vies of Hebrides and Staffa and isles.Frank12/08/2018

Ferry from Ulva Ferry then cycled as far as Gometra bridge in grotty drizzly conditions. For such a little hill it's quite tricky with false summits and loads of bracken and Heather to contend with. Also bagged Beinn Chreagach on the way back.NormanW12/07/2018
From Jane Anne’s bothy after cycling from Ulva Ferry. Hazy, warm and still. Rounsfell31/05/2018
Morning ferry, cycled to Gometra on the tack. At high point on track bear right to small woods on animal tracks that continue mostly to summit.N.Morters19/04/2018

Quite complicated to reach the top even once over on Gometra. Heading up from the bend in the track after the bothy its best to go off to the right. Plenty of helpful animal tracks. Bikes were useful, though not easy on the rough track. Plenty of time for both hills between first and last ferry.jenx22/08/2016
Left bike at bridge because the track deteriorated considerably once on Gometra. Walked past settlement to end of track and up western slopes. Eventually located summit, tricky due to sea fog and unfortunately had no view. One of the more memorable Marilyns, requiring 3 ferries (from Fort Wm) and a bike to reach this remote spot.AndrewFinnimore17/06/2014

Trig revisit. Flattish heathery summit, great view. From high point of track, keep R of heathery slope, on grass & bracken. Ulva ferry 9 til 5 weekdays. The 2 trigs in <5h but they deserve better.RHW24/03/2008
Got first ferry, pay on return. On track for 5 1/2 miles of up and down about 250' above sea. Track very rutted and all potholes were full of water after yesterday. After 2 hours onto Gometra island over a small bridge. Another 1 1/2 miles passing cottages before a faint path uphill through heather to higher ground. Bracken thrashing finding deer paths to a heather slope to final prow and top at 13.00. Stout 4' cairn 4m from Vanessa 10508. My 950th Scottish hill. 15 1/2 m - 6 3/4 hrs for day.arranc06/09/2006
