Followed the dyke wall up then into the conifersAndrew Simmons15/03/2023
2nd visit here, track from the south and up along wall and into the trees for a short bash also visited open mound area to the south.robertphillips22/04/2021
From NE. Parked cattle grid (NX 9616 9644), followed wall to its apex, then into young conifers - nasty things! Visited the GR given here (NX 95549 95911), and the 204m and 207m spot heights. 204m to south is a nicely rounded mound, 30+ across in a clearing, same elevation as the GR given here. The 207m spot height to the north is flat and gave a sub 300m elevation reading.jonglew14/12/2020
from the east along wall/fb to wall hp then into the trees for about 200m.robertphillips01/06/2019
From Poldivan Bridge, along new track. I should have read cjo's entry which would have told me that the track is not as shown on the map. Instead, I overshot and had to return and find the wall rising up a break to the east. The less said the better about the subsequent brutal thrash through the treesColin Crawford24/10/2018
Partly as CJO. Track contours at between 250 and 260m.Got to firebreak W of top. Fought E to top then S to wall. There are no tracks just wide firebreaks. Followed one SE to meet new road at a new plantation. Horrible hill.chrisbien26/04/2017
Approach from Poldivan bridge along new track which follows a line to the west of that shown on the 1:25000 map. To NX952958 up wall to high point then fight through young plantation to gain the crucial. Extra 3m was it worth it as no view at all. Possibly to approach along wall from the east then fight through plantation. the track marked on 1:25000 map does NOT go to the wall high point, 304m spot height.cjo31/12/2016
