Circular route from roadside parking NX611622. Took rad and track towards Grobdale of Girthon, then fairly direct climb to Ewe Hill. Continued along ridge to Laughenghie Hill (visiting the various summit contenders), descent NE over increasingly rough ground, crossed stream and climb to Airie Hill (also visiting the cairn). Descent S to climb Clack Hill, on to Loch Hill and to road via track from Grobdale of Balmaghie. Followed road SW from about 1km then headed SSW to climb Fell of Laghead, on to Craigtype and Benfadyeon. Returned via path to Laghead Bridge and road to start point. Some sunshine, some rain, fairly breezy. | RobertP | 01/07/2023 |
Drove the track towards Grobdale of Girthon Farm, parking at NX 6192 6378. Straight up and down from there. New stock fencing ~10m from the top, otherwise 2 gates. | jonglew | 09/02/2021 |

8th top of 9, 1st a reascent of Craiglowrie with Adrian then Cairn Tammock, Rig of Burnfoot and Auchencloy solo, meeting back up with Adrian for Laughenghie out and back and Doon of Culreoch and this the start of a 3 tump circuit parking beside the Laurieston road then using the track to Grobdale of Girthon, using pasture to gain easy access to the ridge. Nice large stones on top. Great view of the Islands of Fleet and Mars was clearly visible. Laughenghie looks so benign from here! We carried on towards the White Gill of Culreoch mainly following a good grassy track... | Dazingdale | 17/10/2018 |

After White Top, not too bad a passage. Alas, the onward route to Laughenghie became more and more tussocky and I elected to leave it for another day. Nice chat with the family at Grobdale of Girthon | Colin Crawford | 30/08/2018 |
8 Tumps anticlockwise from Laghead Bridge. Came along track to ESE of summit. | agentmancuso | 21/04/2018 |
