From Craigends. Forest road all the way to Whitelees. Trig first then the HPAndrew Simmons27/11/2023
Parked at fork in road before Craigends, which is now closed due to building work, so approached via Croilburn and round tracks to turbine E184 (turbine numbers given on map board) and round side of Quarry to Trig and top.colazione15/04/2023
Bank holiday walk from the visitor centre whilst others had to work. Navigated by wind turbine number. As the weather improved and more people were seen. Had a look in the quarry and back to the visitor centre for soup.Buck18/04/2022
Just able to turn and park at locked gate thus reducing the length of walk to trig and summit.lordtonult24/10/2021
There is a locked gate 1km beyond Craigends. Only bike and foot access. No car parking available at the gate.bjewing22/03/2021
Parked at the bend in the road before Craigends (now demolished), and followed the forest track to the boarded up house just S of the summit. Through long grass to the summit. The artificially raised edge of the quarry could be as high. Also walked around the flat area around the trig point.LizH18/06/2020
After the 4 tump loop from Whitelee wind farm, I drove past Craigends and managed to park beside locked gate at NS53415 42969 but had to be very careful to turn car round. Easy walking on track past into what seems a more neglected part of the wind farm with many turbines not in operation. I climbed over gate to Whitelee then headed direct for the top, recording 283m @ NS 54672 42876 and 281m at the Trig point. I then continued to edge of quarry and recorded 279m dropping down to the gate again and back the same way to the car, 2.9km out and back in total. Back along a pot-holed section of the forest track and the lane from Craigends to the main road at Hareshaw on the A719. Next: Wilson's Hill...Dazingdale27/09/2019

Park at fork to Craigends which has now been obliterated. When the bank of the quarry becomes naturalised it will prove to be higher than other highpoints. Rubbish landscape.Thearlaichdubh11/04/2019
Evening cycle of 3 Tumps whilst staying at Morris E.C. Cycled from the Whitelee Visitor Centre to the N. Lovely smooth roads in most places better than the pot-holed tarmac of the public highways. Recommend using the wind farm map from website - and navigating by turbine number! Onwards to Blackwood Hill.Minto11/07/2018
with renee parked at craigends good track all the way.robertphillips01/05/2017
Parked at Craigends and walked in before dawn arriving at the trig with sufficient light to see. Probably the best approach for such a dull hillColin Crawford17/12/2016
P Craigends - now boarded up. Track to house at Whiteleehill - also boarded up. Summit very flat. Top maybe not trig.chrisbien09/04/2015
Walked from road end at Craigends into windfarm and up to summit, past lots of warning signs.quadbarrel28/10/2012
