Drove in from Ae via Brownmoor and Pumro. Parked NE of summit, at NY 01674 90105. Heavy going. Revisited trig pillar too. Drove out to Kirkmichael. Blaeberry Hill being ploughed, so no attempt to bag it, and the track was muddy, but AWD not quite needed I think. | RHW | 14/10/2023 |

A 6 tump bike round from the CP at Ae village, blaeberry hill, kirkmichael fell trig first then hp, pumro hill, minnygap height, holehouse hill, brownmoor hill, 25km biking 5km walking. | robertphillips | 11/09/2021 |
Got car off track at NY 0114 9046 (rough cattle pasture) - 2 closed gates to negotiate from Kirkmichael. Took forest break to SE - very rough but clear of trees, unlike the next break - narrow with self-seeded immature tree to push through. After the HP continued SW on a wide clear break to edge of forest and on to trig pillar. Returned along edge of forest to gate at NY 0101 9016. Picked up Blaeberry Hill drive back to road. Met farmer on quad near the road, had a friendly chat for 10 mins. | jonglew | 23/10/2020 |
Second visit, a coda after visiting the other Forest of Ae tumps on a long bike ride. The tussocks and heather in the trees seemed worse than last time. The track past Glenkiln was a vile cycle ride, ankle deep in mud and slurry. | Colin Crawford | 17/10/2019 |
round of tumps from kirk michael church. Visit trig pillar then along firebreak. Hard to confirm which is higher. | cjo | 22/07/2018 |
