1st of 6 hills today and 1st ever log for this hill on a long traverse from Barrhill station (from Girvan) using the forest roads i diverted to explore Linn Dhu waterfall, just outside Barrhill. No problems even though some of the roads are being reclaimed by nature. A wilder walk ensued after passing the abandoned settlenwmt of Ardnamoil, crossing a ditch stopping off at Cairn Kenny (the voice indide my head went into South Park mode) before climbing to Trig pillar and then continuing to summit @276m correspondong to spot height indicated on Os maps in reedy area. Headed Nnw to the forest track heading for Cairn Hill of the Moil.Dazingdale17/05/2017
