From East Lodge. Good zigzagy forest roads (some zigs and zags were short circuited) to NX 9427 5846 when took to the trees for the trig pillar. After the trig eschewed any breaks that may or may not exist and took a direct line to the hill top - old felled forest and deep heather made it a memorable time! From the top (there are 2 points to choose from) took a direct line to NX 9381 5913 to meet the forest road, another unpleasant bash over bad ground.jonglew06/01/2021
Tricky one this one. Followed the forestry track from East Lodge until NE of the summit, then waded through a boggy firebreak and across a heathery hill-dome. Decided that it was easier to return via the forest itself, making sure to keep under the older canopy to the due north rather than the impassable new planting.summitter05/09/2019
After Boreland Hill. Small cairn at summit. Terrain tussocky and hard work, typical Dumfries and Gallowaycjo02/12/2017
