A hill of character - summit in mist today. Ascent via path from CP by B8007 to NE. With Bolton.ger22/10/2019
Parked at wind turbine entrance. Good path to summit but drizzle and wind meant little was seen in the 2 hour return with Ger.bolton22/10/2019
During a solo week in Ardgour & Sunart. From high point of road where there is plenty of room to park. A cairn marks the start of a good, if boggy, path which winds its way up to the summit cone. Followed the path round the seaward side of the hill for the easy final ascent for a superlative view. Typical of an isolated hill near the coast. Enjoyed absolute silence for quite a while on the summit apart from the chugging engine of a fishing boat in the Sound Of Mull & three stags taking it turns to bellow, one of which seemed to be on Mull. Descended over the various bumps rather than the path. Great wee hill.NotReallyABagger04/10/2019

From the view point on the road dropped into the bay past the Neolithic tomb and early Christian cross. Along the coast to a fence, then up to gate near the abandoned village. Ascended grassy slopes in mist, then down the normal route to return via the road in the rain. With Pete Jill and Wendy.mindlessflogger19/02/2017

Hot, sunny, calm and good views.iangalbraith24/05/2016
It stands alone - majestic and a joy to climb. Short grass makes the going easy slowly winding up the rough ridge tracks that lead to the summit. The last ascent looks improbable (cliffs to the NE) but the track sneaks round the other side for an easy ascent. The summit does not disappoint either 360 degree views - a place to linger and enjoy.briandavies24/04/2016

It was so windy we were nearly forced to abort this easy summit. At the top we found shelter and enjoyed the wonderful seascape. Cold and windy enough for even the Scots to complain.pwheeler23/05/2013

Walked around shore from Camas nan Geall and ascended from shore just before McLean's Nose (two otters spotted playing around here). Had to dodge some stalkers on the descent, giving a longer walk-out as a result.lolsmit19/10/2011
