From the compound, good path. On to north top great views. With LesleyNick Canute07/01/2024
Came up, as others, from the cemetery. A very difficult hill today across path less terrain in mist, wind and rain. There is a much easier route though! Park further up the road from the cemetery at the household recycling centre. A good little path leads all the way to the base of the hill. With Jill.Dangerous Dave31/07/2023
Long, excellent round from Lag a' Choire of Stacan Dubha, Druim na Gearr Leacainn, Dubh Creag & its W top, Beinn nan Codhan, Druim na Claise, Druim Reidh-dhalach, Beinn nan Ord and the excellent Beinn na Seilg & N Top.sclater28/03/2022
From the cemetery and just picked a line up, I managed to follow a few deer tracks here and there. Great views from the top and I visited the North top before returning.Peterb18/07/2021
brilliant weather- breezy sun, clear views, to repeat this impressive hill. I love the huge grippy slabsDenise 30/05/2021
Parked North of Kilchoan near the Cemetary - Past the Council fenced yard and out across lag a Chiore then we meander along faint tracks rising past its Lochain Ghleann Locha onto Beinn na Seilg. Suprisingly wild! we explore heading west then south the towards the sea at Moal Buidhe (failing to find the unlogged OS bolt) then contoured back round the hill East and north back to our starting pointbriandavies30/04/2021
With Rob. Not sure we started from the right 'council yard' Initial loew cloud so not great views but a lovely rocky hill to ascend.alexmaclennan03/09/2020
From cemetery CP to E with Bolton. Summit in mist & very windy on top. Summit environs could be interesting. Large cairn to W is quite mossy.ger22/10/2019
From the cemetary car park. Drizzle and wind did not deter Ger and myself! Some indistinct paths and animal tracks to follow. No view. With Ger.bolton22/10/2019
Revisit - both tops, has maybe been relocated since my first visit. #6 of 6 from Ormsaigbeg roadhead, P small quarry, steeply up to Ormsaig trig bolt (not found), the 172p29 summit then c/w circuit finishing over Seilg via its wonderful N top. Cold day, sometimes windy but bitter N wind.RHW05/05/2019
3rd short walk of the day following Ben Hiant and Meall nan Con. started well from the recycling point, wind increased and squall rain and hail battered summit. Wild.N.Morters11/10/2018

Walked up from Ormsaigmor and mainly followed faint sheep paths across the fields and up the hillside, past the two lochans. The route wasn't too boggy though that was possibly down to all that sunshine recently and we were rewarded with stunning, clear views from the top which made it a walk to remember.Gebirgsjaeger04/07/2018
An excellent walk from the council compound. There's a decent path/animal track most of the way, so the walk need not be at all rough. Interesting route up the stream, weaving round bumps, then a nice walk up the ridge with areas of gabbro to walk on. Superb views from the top, and both cairns should be visited.Gill04/06/2018
horseshoe circuit of the 3 tops, stacan dubha, beinn na seilg, beinn na seilig north top, from parking near the cemetery.robertphillips24/02/2018

With Rick & Jen following tea at the lighthouse. Superb vista of many islands.Smudge13/10/2013
With Jen and Smudge following tea and cake at the lighthouse. From council compound opp cemetery. Steady slopes, following deer trails. Double headed top, did both and NW TuMP in way down.nordicstar13/10/2013
Third successive perfect day, although the local terrain and vegetation was less perfect to walk through. Reached summit at about 1100, great sea views out west.Topographer5713/10/2013
Second Marilyn of the day. Rougher going than the first, Meall nan Con. Started through the crofts at Ormsaigmore. A fascinating walk and a nice, bare gabbro summit. Cloudy all day on the Corbetts but well clear on these hills. Nearly all the info on them is about geology- a classic site- rather than walkingpwheeler18/05/2013

Parked at Kilchoan cemetery. GPS all the time in mist. Heavy going all the way. Some deer tracks helped. Turned left on reaching a ridge, bypassing rocky outcrops and stone runs to top at 12.10.arranc24/08/2007
