Parked at the car park to the SW of Neilston Pad. A beautiful crisp and sunny day with plenty of dog walkers around. A walk out to Duncarnock then back to Nielston pad via Dyke hill.

9th top of 10 on a 26.6km circuit from Harelaw car park, climbing Knockenae, Dareduff, James's Hill, Cairn Hill, Floak, Byreside, Mearns Law and Duncarnock, descending steep grassy bank to the East then profiling round to head over wall to walk parallel to periphery of Glanderston dam, using footway to gain access to the Northern tip, then up Wsw following line of track on the Os map to a minor lane, continuing on track Wsw before heading South direct for the top, recording 211m @ NS 48873 56040.
