Park just past Barbey. Up the side of the empty house through to the field. Next gate in the middle of the field takes you to the corner small gap in the fence leads to another gate, go through and up passed the woods to the top. Return the same way. P minor road to SE, just S of Byrecorft entrance, gradually deteriorating farm track all the way to within 400m of easy pasture, only obstacle is wall nr summit which can be safely crossed 150m S of top by lone tree in bend.agentmancuso03/01/2022
From Drumcoltran to the S. Parked on roadside verge at farm entrance. Good farm track for half the distance, then field boundaries and a bit of a woodland section. Some stock fencing and a wall to negotiate.jonglew10/01/2021

Farmer in yard by Tower to the south readily pointed out a suitable route to the summit. Up track behind farm, then through field with cattle which i was assured would be fien, they were. Then over a wall. To a flattish area of grass which was the summitcjo21/06/2017
