Parked by the gate. Straight up from thereAndrew Simmons22/11/2023
From the NE, parking roadside (NS 3786 7053), although better parking a bit further W along the road, and a field gate. Scrambled up to E of the main crags.jonglew03/11/2023
By West Glen Road from Kilmacolm. Gorse in full bloom - and scent.neimcv16/05/2023
Entire line of pylons a construction site today. Had to park near Mid Glen and dash unseen beneath the cables to follow ridge to top. Fun.lordtonult29/11/2021

3rd and final tump of the day after knock mountain and barscube. left the single track road at it's highest point by a pylon and its a steep few minutes to the top, which is fairly featureless but gives smashing views.mattymatt21/02/2021
Parked by the gate at the vehicle track. Quick up and down from the road. Good viewpoint.LizH02/07/2020
Followed ridge parallel to road and pylons to make a mini-traverse of this hill. Final of 4 Kilmacolm tumps done today.Grinner25/06/2020
Easy to park, easy to climb, easy to log.summitter01/02/2020
Very quick ascent from road. Shame about the massive pylons nearby.sclater23/01/2020

4th tump of 10 on a 37.2km mile walk from Kilbarchan to Greenock, climbing Barnbrock Hill, Law Hill and Barlogon Hill, eventually emerging from the forest (covered in pine needles)heading North across pasture with cows in adjacent field who all moved into the one I was in and became a little too curious but i climbed over a fence and then up to the lane, then used track to the fishery that continued into Elphinstone Wood (sounds very LOTR) The track disappeared and I made a hash of getting through this woodland but once out it was an enjoyable stroll to the top. I marked the top as NS 37828 70469, recording 195m. Steeply down to the road then over a gate and in between some pine woodland heading for Barscube Hill....Dazingdale27/05/2018
After Knockmountain. Not too rough traverse following line of small pylons and various tracks heading SE until large pylons and track up to minor road, then 5 minutes to summit. Good viewpoint. Space for 3 cars at foot. On to Barscube.Thearlaichdubh12/11/2017
