|2nd hill of 4 today having struggled with Torwinnoch, it didnt get any easier, i headed over A712 on a footpath then headed up through woodland to reach wide track veering off to climb direct partly on mountain bike trail then up through moss clad larches, then tighter packed conifers. I found a cairn (4 large rocks on top of each other) and thought this was the top, getting reading of 167/8m a knoll about 10m away of similar height but continued on my preplanned toute south to get two readings of 178m, separated by about 15m 1 between two trees and another a small mound abutting a tree. Descent back onto track heading South then west on track to A75 and following this over the Cree, heading for Barr Hill.||Dazingdale||01/08/2017|
|This is vile. Easy start from carpark at 436649. follow obvious tracks to N but then you have to negotiate the route up to the ridge which has had a short back and sides with a mixture of windblown and clearfell. Ridge itself is quite tightly packed trees and is easier to get to from NE. Having wandered along the ridge the highest point seems to be 3m S of a large boulder. This hill will get even worse as they harvest more of it.||Thearlaichdubh||03/01/2017|
