4th hill of 11 today on a car tour from Ayr. Re-visted Craigie hill then went onto Sornhill and Mauchline. I parked in a pull-in next to narrow strip of woodland East of the hill. I walked west through the trees then used gate onto track that then passes open pasture. Cows were getting agitated and started closing in but i kept going over a fence to visit the two man-nade mounds. Continued through woodland. High point of 170 at N fenceline near gate but also in open pasture just South of the man made mounds.Returned via farm and then lane.Dazingdale07/05/2017
As all others park bend in road to west, over gate to pasture HP, ground in woods near farm is higher but is man made.robertphillips15/02/2017
Exactly the same as Chris and Bernie. Difficult to identify the high point, so flat is the groundColin Crawford17/12/2016
