Parked on logging road due E of the hill. Forest was ok. Exlored a good bit of the 150m contour, but not all of it. Large rounded moss-covered boulder at NX 2804 6501 is a good candidate for the HP. A small ridge at NX 2796 6493 definitely lower. | jonglew | 15/08/2021 |

7th hill of 8 today on a challenging route from Glenrazie on B7027 to Kirkcowan, climbing Glenvogie Fell, Garmill, Glassoch Fell, Urrall Fell, Kiln Hill and Culvennan Fell, descending Sw to reach minor road at cattle grid then following it Nw until property just NE of Dirnow Loch where I followed a track until I reached a quarry where it disintegrated into a forest ride for a newly planted conifer forest. Continued until ride opened up heading South but then veered across to reach forest track. Took forest ride West and then South, squeezing through trees until break reached that led to the top, an oval patch of conifers with open ground on one side and in the middle, 2 or 3 high patches all next to young conifer trees but tightly bunched. Atmospheric top. Descent as ascent to follow narrow break heading Ese then more boggy ground heading SE. It is in this area that my Garmin gps device fell off! Searched for 45 mins before continuing SE towards Barskeoch Fell. | Dazingdale | 02/08/2017 |

From the North (small car park) took RH forest road then up through brush then open woodland then a fight with dense/dark forest. Top is a very small clearing. Back roughly same way - followed the dog who seems to be able to retrace very effectively. | maknipe | 17/02/2016 |
