2nd hill of 8 today on a challenging route from Glenrazie to Kirkcowan, having climbed Glenvogie Fell I headed on a track West and then North, using an initially overgrown forest ride NW, but improving to then gain forest road again NW and as I got nearer I headed over felled and re-planted land to climb fence and then wooded slope and dense bracken to gain summit knoll. Summit is open heather/bilberry knoll close to lone tree. Descent Sw passing Fire Tower before descending steep bank to briefly join wide track nearing quarry before heading NE using trees to avoid dense bracken and then NW, heading for Glassoch Fell... | Dazingdale | 02/08/2017 |
