Seven Tump round from parking at Barchain road end. This one from Marnoch Hill, the trees not too much of a problem. there was a cairn on top but I wondered if a tree to the north might be a touch higher. I retraced my steps to the track on the north side rather than attempt the steep flank to the east | Colin Crawford | 14/02/2022 |
4 tump round from road to the east, barlochan hill, barhastry hill, blackbellie hill, marnoch hill visited both areas. | robertphillips | 29/01/2022 |
From same parking as for Ramshaw Fort. Roughly followed fenceline up SW for Barlochan Hill, on to Barhastry, then across to here. On to Marnoch for an interesting 7km round (including Ramshaw). | jonglew | 25/01/2021 |
From Marnock hill. Found a game trail part way up hill but the final push through the bracken was not pleasant fro the north to south (higher) top. Small cairn at summit. Tough route back down through young trees. | cjo | 23/07/2017 |
P at track from S by B736. To just past the high point then up a break in the trees - not nice. Over N and S tops. Thrash down to W to end of a track heading N to the original track. | chrisbien | 22/01/2017 |
