For years I had wondered what the 3 hump mountain was that dominates the view as you drive up Loch Eil side on route to Mallaig. Not an often climbed Graham it would seem, probably due to its remoteness which is a shame as it was rather an enjoyable climb. Cycled in 5 miles from Inverscaddle Bay to Corriarach Bothy and then continued on foot up the glen. Managed to get across the Cona just east of the outflow from the Allt a Choire Leith Mhor where the river was shallower and there was just enough stepping stones to get over without getting feet wet. Headed up the long and pleasant ridge of Sron a Choire Leith Mhor topping out at the West Top of SMB. Nipped out to do Stob a Chuir before coming back over WT and onto main top which turns out to have 2 tops on it with the west cairn currently holding sway as the highest point. Went East from here to do the Marilyn DLNF and back down to bothy for bike and cycle back. 20 miles total 10 on bike for great day out. | Jossker | 04/08/2023 |
Route from Inverscaddle bay, following track along Cona Glen with lots of oak trees, climbing Tom na h-Eilde before crossing the river nearly 2km further on and climbing to summit of Stob a' Chuir. Continued along the ridge to Stob Mhic Bheathain West Top and Stob Mhic Bheathain. Continued along ridge (with excellent views to the Ardgour Mountains) to Druim Leathad nam Fias and Druim Leathad nam Fias East Top. Descended steep end of ridge to reach bridge over River Scaddle and return to start point. | RobertP | 12/09/2021 |
meall mor, stob a chuir, stob mhic bheathain west top, stob mhic bheathain repeat, biked up cona glen to 910 734 | robertphillips | 01/08/2021 |
Cycled to Corrlarach, bumpy stony track. Across the Bridge of Doom S of the bothy (creaky wood supported on rusty chains) then deer tracks lead easily up the hill up a spur, then across the coire and easy, steep ground direct to the summit of Druim Leathad nam Fias. Along the fence line to Stob Mhic Bheathain, easily down from Lochan nan Stob via the ridge of Cnap a' Choire Leith Bhig, skirting the bumps then down various gullies. River crossed downstream of the island. I think Druim means up and down along a bumpy ridge. This walk is best done in a drought and before the tussocks grow. | Gill | 30/04/2021 |

quite a long day including the cycle up beautiful Cone Glen and 2 other tops, 6 hours, Quite tough terrain as norm in this area but fine mountain. | dmckeith | 26/08/2019 |
From Callop, over the pass up to Stob a Chuir over the 706m pt onto the Graham, descended onto the ridge just below the 706m pt then N down into the valley before crossing the river and meeting the track to walk back over the pass. Satnav said 22.4km and 1200m of climbing | JulieB | 13/07/2019 |
Cycled up Cona Glen to Corrlarach, good track, and climbed DLF and SMB. Descended from SMB to Cnap a'Choire Leith Bhig then descended directly into glen at 937724. Crossed the river in boots and gaiters without getting wet through, but only just. | Topographer57 | 20/08/2018 |

from Inverscaddle Bay via a rough cycle ride along Cona Glen, with Peter Cottam | Galltywenallt | 26/04/2017 |
Third attempt on this hill. From Cona Glen got up to fence posts on ridge. Ran out of puff and retraced steps, falling on coccyx re-crossing the river. 11 hours without a result! | arranc | 07/06/2016 |
The long cycle in nearly did for me! But the glen is beautiful and wintry conditions on the hill made it quite special. | jenx | 07/03/2016 |
With Jenx. Cycled Cona Glen - reasonable track, to just past locked bothy at Corriarach. Walked about 3km further and crossed to gain third ridge to Stob Mhic Bheathain west top. On over Stob Mhic Bheathain then good if long ground to main top Druim Leathad nam Fias. Direct down off top via a spur to a short fight through woods then river and bikes. River easily crossed in boots/gaiters after dryish weather. | nordicstar | 07/03/2016 |
