Took Lane between houses in Kippford. Headed up path then A/C round on path/track. Took second track on right, then faint path up through trees. With M. Onto Barcloy Hill next.The Captain18/07/2021
From Kippford, narrow lane between houses (starting at NX 8374 5498) morphs into woodland track, then good forest roads. Left the road and entred trees at NX 8431 5506. ***Re-visted with family, same route but continued on to Rockcliffe and return along coast path.jonglew14/01/2021

P by Barons Craig Hotel. Track then steeply through trees. To discover that MB track goes to the top of Mark Hill from the NS track just to the W. Onwards to Torbay which has a path from the NW to the top.chrisbien20/05/2017
