Wide verge for parking across the road from the farm (NS 4196 2181). Kept left at the farm after passing the bungalow, going out into a muddy pasture on its N side. | jonglew | 16/03/2024 |

Through gate at cottage before farm and round to north of trig. Piggery parlour believed to be built here so high point may change soon. | lordtonult | 28/07/2021 |
Parked on verge near crossroads. Up track to
Raithhill farm, veering left on track. Followed edge round above pit, then South onto pasture, past solo tree and to Trig and Top. Good views to Arran.

Park on verge to S of crossroads then diagonally through 2 fields to summit which has a bit of a dump beside it. | Thearlaichdubh | 14/04/2019 |
5th hill of 11 today on a car tour from Ayr starting with a re-visit to Craigie Hill then Sornhill, Mauchline hill and Torbeg. I parked up on the grass verge beside a junction leading to a solitary property. I followed the lane, used field edges then climbed one gate to walk up through pasture towards the summit via another gate then about 20 metres to knoll and trig. Cows were sunbathing on top but they were pretty chilled. Walked to solitary beech tree and land was lower in between so agree that knoll is the highest point. Returned from summit enclosure via a different gate but then used same outward route to return to the car for lunch before proceeding to Craigs of Kyle. | Dazingdale | 07/05/2017 |
parked on verge at cross roads couple of gates to the top, early morning before work. | robertphillips | 01/02/2017 |
