I was glad of a hard frost, given the churning of the field by cattle; the entry gate had a frozen pool of slurry. Superb views from the trig, Ailsa Craig, Arran and Northern Ireland all in clear visibilityColin Crawford10/12/2022

Roadside verge parking to N. Took a direct line S up the hill over sheep pasture. Trig pillar at top. Fine views N to lighthouse. With AC and TJ.jonglew25/03/2018
3rd hill of 7 today, having climbed Clachan and Blair More, back onto minor road then on track past Cairnbowie, climbed one fence then directly up to the summit. Highest point appears to be broken stone wall with embedded rocks to the SE of trig pillar. Cows on other side of fence were agitated so descended SE to corner, over gate then across next field to descend Sse along field edge, over drainage channel/burn and through gate to minor road. Bine Hill is next.Dazingdale30/07/2017
