| Walked with Dave Johnes, from the Snowsports centre upper car park via the iron age fort above Hillend Country Park, then up to Caerketton Hill and across to Allermuir Hill and to the car diagonally across the northern slope. Marvelling at how wonderfully close to the city are these steep grassy hills. Just getting our hill legs warmed up here before breaking into a jog. | Parked in walkers’ carpark ar Swanson golf club. Up the path, through the village and followed the burn to signpost for Hillend. Turned left and followed this track until a path branched off to Boghall. Followed this for a while until crossed by a path heading uphill.
