Parked to NE, at start of forest road (NT 3807 5202). Did the forest road first for Carcant Hill, then back to car. Then walked ~550m along road to cross a fast and wide Heriot Water on a precarious sheep catcher strung across the river. Across the flat meadow and straight up the hill. | jonglew | 18/03/2024 |

Parked in logging road trumpet mouth towards Heriot. River crossing easy then up the northern spur, steep but easy. Bit of a grovel under the lodgepole pines required by summit. Descent to west by a series of paths. | fasgadh | 23/11/2021 |
Parked @NT38061~52026 Across the Heriot water which thankfully was low steep pull up then along the ridge to the top. I parked here as this is the start of the next Trump on the day's list Carcant Hill | Andrew Simmons | 04/04/2021 |
