After Tinny - fast travel on the roads. Ascent from south by a quarry. Looks horrible but all windthrow avoidable and easy progress through the trees. Summit area by the dyke however is a swamp - churned up by motorbike idiots. Return to the A701, beating the rain for once.fasgadh23/08/2022
From A701 Tinny Bank > Errickstane Hill > Nap Hill forest tracks and fire breaks. Enjoyable 4 hoursAndrew Simmons23/04/2022
From layby on A701 (NT 0498 1463), direct line over rough and wet ground to Little Bog Hill then Hazelbush Hill -> Clyde Law -> Pin Stane -> Harleburn Head. From there retraced steps to NT 0075 1711 and picked up a non-existent track along a wall for a direct line up to here - warning, very bad ground then a very muddy break after Clydes Burn, in the trees is much better. On to Errickstane Hill -> Tinny Bank. Returned along old Roman Road to A701 600m SSW of the car - not a good road to walk 600m along. Otherwise a pleasant 18.5k round and the Annan Catchment completion.jonglew21/10/2021
Track to Dead Side then up wall to summit at wall corner, deer stalking seat overlooks the ascent.Anton27/06/2021
After Nap Hill via tracks. On way down realised that best way up is directly up from forest road to S, then up grain of trees to wall at summit, which is best way down. On to Errickstane.Thearlaichdubh21/03/2019
bike round from parking across road from track entrance to the east county boundary A701 nap hill, tinny bank, errickstane hill on good tracks and fire breaks, the trees are all mature so no sitka bashing.robertphillips19/10/2018
P county boundary A701, via Tinny Bank & Errickstane Hill. FB leaving forest road to SE hard to spot at first, then easy enough.agentmancuso14/08/2018
