Parked to SE, at start of forest road (NT 3807 5202). Headed W on track to wall, then followed that up. Returned to car and crossed road for Dod Law.jonglew18/03/2024

Parked at entrance to forestry tracks to the SE on the B709 then walked up the fireroad. Tried to follow the MTB trails up, but the higher levels are trashed from storm damage so had to bush bash back to the fire road to the E. More bush bash to reach the moor to the north of the forest before looping around west to the summit.Paul Digard27/11/2022
Track and up along wall to the top.robertphillips23/07/2022
Parked at the Forestry Track at the B709. Followed the path over some fallen trees. Picked a left turn out of the forest then right to the cairn. Back through the forest.JAdair9707/04/2022

Parked @NT38061~52026 Dod Law first. Used the track which I found takes you out onto the hill side NE of high point. Followed the edge of the wood around to the cairn at the HPAndrew Simmons04/04/2021
Parked end of track NT380 520, track to gate, through and right steeply up at first then eases of to summit.Anton18/09/2020
Parked at end of forest road to SE and pleasant diagonal walk to small gate and up the edge of forest. Sniffed around in the trees in search of a higher point but couldn't find one.Thearlaichdubh26/12/2018
Self. One reason why I ascended this hill was to find out what was reflecting the sun at the summit. Found out it was wooden pallets that were bleached white by the sun and which were used as part of a fence. A good view.Bobf06/10/2018

Bagged as YSM174 Carcant Hill. First of the day, good forest track most of the way up then a fire break with a very sinky middle. Went over gate, wall and under electric fence for no reason as trig is on forest side of wall!thejackrustles28/04/2017
From Dod Law, followed track down W side and forded Heriot Water. Along drive to first gate and straight up.agentmancuso28/12/2016

Track to gate. Then up along side of fence and wall.chrisbien03/07/2016
Rain stopped just as I set off from the car. Followed the forestry track NW to the edge of the woodland and then straight up the hill from the fence. Pentland hills came into view just before the top and then 3 sodding great windmills then appeared, great place for them - why not put some more here numbskulls. A nice walk spoiled IMHO.Walker Dan18/11/2015
