After lunch stop on Wildgoose Hill, down to The Neuk then up, using an ATV track heading approx E, avoiding steepest ground. so then SW up by fence to pt 403 before getting on the moorland HP. End of a fine ridge walk over 3 hills from the Kirk Yetholm- Halterburn road summit. We (Pete and I) returned on a rough path to the Pennine Way, then down the PW to our car parked in the big space by the ford at Halterburn. Only 4.5 h walk inc stops- terrific value for the effort (a bit easier than we had anticipated)pwheeler15/09/2022

Track over the hills on the western side of Halter Burn good in places and not so clever in others. Think we will stick to the other side in future but a nice change to come this way.Walker Dan06/08/2009
