Parked north of Buccleuch and followed the usual roads to just below the summit. Steep slopes were easy with gaps between the trees, but the summit area was rather rough and unpleasant - usual holes, stumps, vegetation joys. This hill will soon be very difficult. On to Dunside Rig | fasgadh | 21/09/2023 |
Parked roadside opposite track to Buccleuch (NT 3273 1450). Through farm then logging road to NT 3103 1387 after which across took a line through new plantings in clear fell to summit. On to Dunside Rig and return for a 7km round. | jonglew | 26/03/2022 |

From Gair. The LiDAR co-ordinates don't seem to be at the highest point. Onwards to Dunside Rig. | chrisbien | 08/06/2021 |

After Dunside Rig, circling round on forest roads. Summit clear felled but you can approach fairly close using rough logging tracks, leaving only a final thrash through the brash. Exit to Buccleuch | Colin Crawford | 19/10/2017 |
