Parked at the Seismological station then followed jonglew's route to Stell HillAndrew Simmons02/01/2022
Parked at end of a new, unmapped, forest road (NT 2574 0597) - up from Seismological Stn. Took breaks SE to Old Aberlosk, then forest road to due N of the hill. Good break runs down to NT 2762 0595 where a nice little break runs in directly to the hill top, some plantings along it but largely clear. Should have reversed out same way but dropped SSE to the quarry... bit of a bash. On to Archie Hill -> Black Knowe -> Quickningair Hill.jonglew27/02/2021
From Seismological station. Up through dreadful trees starting just W of quarry S of top. A small clearing at the top with guess what a deer path that lead fairly easily SW then SE to where I started from by the quarry.chrisbien14/10/2019
A long bike ride from Dumfedling. Sadly, the hill itself is a stinker, completely overplanted by young trees and with very few gaps between. I reached a small clearing which the GPS suggested was close to the spot height and was happy to accept that. This hill is probably best left for ten years hence. If you do attempt it, wear protective clothing and goggles.Colin Crawford25/08/2019
