Parked down the little track next to the dam. Good burn crossing then track to piles of stuff. Path beyond leads to ridge. Mossy tussocks and heather to the first mini top, then, with great relief, found an excellent path/animal track running across the coire below the lumpy, bumpy main ridge, and up the boggy burn, then up to a drainage channel cut in the peat. Best cross low down where it is shallow and path continues up grassy ridge to the lower cairn, then the true summit beyond (route down), otherwise up to the proto-ridge where you can cross easily but rough ground to the top with vague bits of path (way up).Gill20/01/2022

Parked just beyond the dam in a large area. There is evidence of some tracks to the top but it is easier than it looks. 80 minute return in the showers. Solobolton04/10/2021
From Dam (loch an Losgainn Mor). Good summit views, though a cloudy grey day.ger18/07/2021
Parked by the dam. Up via Loch a' Chlachain; back via Gleann Ban.Winterfloodian03/06/2021
Parked at dam, easy slopes to start then a bit rougher underfoot. Summit appears to be the smaller cairn.Lionel Bidwell19/03/2020

Revisit, with Dazingdale, #4 of 18, Kames Farm thru to Dun ChonallaichRHW13/05/2018
4th tump of 16 on a 24.5km loop from Kames Farm to Lord of the Isles pub in Craobh Haven, the 1st 7 with RHW, climbing Carn Dearg, Tom Soilleir and Cruach na Seilcheig West top, continuing NE past Loch na Cruache to the summit. I recorded 383m @ NM 85445 11051. We descended a few metres to stop for a wee snack next to a nicely stratified rock outrcrop with good views of the surrounding hills. Continuation of route to Cnoc Loch an Daimh...Dazingdale13/05/2018
Bus to Kilmelford, minor road east to bridge about 859122, south-westwards over rough grass with some faint animal trods to point 302, then southwards to main top. Sunny with light wind and occasional cloud. View extensive but hazy – Ben More (Mull) and Cruachan visible because of snow cover. Back down almost to road, then to Bàrr Beithe.mainnirnamfiadh02/02/2018

Parking at the lochan dam to NE. Easy ascent. First cairn you see isn't the summit. The cairn is now relocated to the true summit, (instead of being 3m south). Descent via lochan and Tump of Barr BeitheMinto07/06/2015
With Jenx at Marhofn 2015. Room for one car on minor road at 859122, by water course. Mossy grassy slopes, follow drainage line most of way. Grey day, but largey rain free and views to coast. Two cairned top but clear which one is higher.nordicstar06/06/2015

Part of circular starting from farm at turnalt, on to this peak, down across Gleann Domhain and up to peak of Carn Duchara before following Glen path back. Bit of a slog for this summit once I left the farm track on the ridge, great views once there however.Columba01/07/2013
200th Marilyn of the year on a fine and very cold frosty morning starting from outlet of Loch an Losgaihn Mor. Celebrated at summit with miniature bottle of 21% proof Spitz Vier Kanter. Not sure whether you are supposed to use to remove old Nikwax from boots or drink it. Took risk and latter, then rolled back down.Martin R11/12/2012
Third top today with Jim Bloomer as the wind picked up and views got poorer.Dugswell207/06/2012

Parked by loch above Kilmelford. Across small stream and swamp to ridge up on short heather and animal tracks to top at 14.30. Large cairn probably not at highest point. GPS showed a small pile of stones 100m away as being the top.arranc10/09/2004
