While walking St Cuthbert's Way from Melrose to St Boswells. After Mid Hill, descended to the SW then followed clear and easy tracks up to the top as a little bit of drizzle arrived. I was rewarded with a rainbow over Mid Hill while on the summit. Rejoined G/F in Broad Wood and onwards to St Boswells on a very pleasant walk.thesweetcheat17/10/2022

4.6 mile walk from Melrose up St. Cuthberts Way onto the Eildons, up onto Eildon Mid Hill first, then along to Eildon Wester Hill and finally contouring north around the Mid Hill onto Eildon Hill North, busy on the hills today, there was also a running race going on across all 3 hills. Hot and sunny but quite clear with great views. Bagged Earlston Black Hill earlier that day.DanTrig22/06/2019

A very good walk from the fishing lake, which allows a circuit of all 3 hills without having to use the same path twice, except for a short section above the lake. The vehicle track is very muddy because of logging, but the path up the field beyond is fine. Over Mid Hill, on to North hill, and back around the side of Mid hill to Wester Hill. I elected for the bog trot north of the lake, to avoid the muddy track, but not much in it really.Gill08/02/2018
