En route Peebles to Biggar. Summit route pretty much as Dazingdale. | PGCE | 20/03/2020 |
1st of two hills on a route from Peebles to Dawyck gardens. Used footpath past Niedpath castle, onto minor road to Kirkton Manor, then the John Buchan way before climbing over a wall into a field and straight up over two stiles to take track heading up the centre. Summit appears to be the East side but i hopped over wall to be sure. Descent was following the inside perimeter of the conifer plantation, using stile to access West side of wall and followed this upto White knowe. | Dazingdale | 04/05/2016 |
