From Clifton, wide grass verges for ample parking (NT 8186 2588). Followed track for ~500m then veered off across pasture, and fellside beyond to summit. On to Cove Hill and Black Hill and return for a pleasant 7.7km round.jonglew23/01/2023

Cairn; summit 15m E possibly as high. #1 of 7 anticlockwise from Clifton to N, passed thru plantation due N of summit but suspect there's a path passing R (W) of it. Nice circuit with P80, P82 and P70 and some good steep climbs. Sunny start soon turning chilly and greyRHW20/01/2019
