Nice grassy top in comparison to its ugly namesake to the northColin Crawford15/03/2016
4th hill of 7 today on a route from Galashiels to Melrose via Gala Hill, Cauldshiels Hill (the other one) Dod Hill and then over a fence to climb to a track skirting the steepest section and from there I climbed straight up. Clearly this hill is part of an ancient defensive structure that seems to have covered a significant part of the land hereabouts. Lovely aspect.Dazingdale16/05/2015
