6 of 8 from near clifton on a very wind day storm Otto.robertphillips17/02/2023
Wide verge parking on Pennine Way, just S of Halterburn. Up to Staerrough Hill and Shereburgh first then across to here. On to Wildgoose Hill and Latchly Hill for a fine 9.5k round.jonglew22/01/2023
Over from Shereburgh HillAdrian22/01/2023
Ridgewalk- quite literally- from Staerough Hill. We flanked the wood at 832266 on its NE, then E side but we could just as easily walked straight through it- gates/stiles at all critical points. Ridge from Staerough Hill to Latchly Hill became better defined as we approached up the N ridge.pwheeler15/09/2022
A circuit from Clifton of Shereburgh, Sunnyside, Wildgoose, Latchly, Black Hag, The Curr, Blackdean Curr, Black Hill, Cove Hill and Wood Hill. Mainly on tracks or closely cropped grass.sclater22/04/2022
Doing the Halterburn Horseshoe, anti-clockwise.BigJ10/11/2021
From Wildgoose Hill along wall, summit clearly a few metres from wall on S side. On to Shereburgh.agentmancuso26/07/2021
Unsure when I bagged this hill but I remember the route. I used the Pennine Way and then onto Staerough hill. Retrospective log.Andrew Simmons18/12/2020
From Shereburgh. Again used the SW corner of an improved field,it should be solid yellow on the Harvey map, to dodge a dyke/electric fence combo. Just follow the hoof prints. Then a good pech to the summit in a howling gale and horizontal hail. There was a brief lull at the top (SW of the dyke) and then round two as far as Wildgoose.fasgadh08/03/2020
Part of circular route, but only visited the top on N side of wall (no suitable crossing point near summit) so not ticked - From Kirk Yetholm, overnight route, cold night in tent. Green Humbleton, Coldsmouth Hill, Madam Law, White Law, Latchley Hill, Wildgoose Hill, Staerough Hill. Bright, excellent views and ground largely frozen.RobertP19/01/2020
Splendid circuit from NT840276 over 12 Tumps....Haddon Hill SW Top....The Curr....Shereburgh.jimbloomer22/10/2019
Dropped off a little N of Burnhead. PW to just S of Latchly and straight up. Basically along walls to Wildgoose and Sunnyside. Then down wall to gate a N to edge of wood. Up W side of wall to gate beside trig on Staerough. Down to Greystones.chrisbien10/07/2019
Pasture 5m SW of wall bend. #6 of 7 anticlockwise from Clifton to NWRHW20/01/2019
Continued along wall from Wildgoose. Couple of possible high points: grassy rise 30m from wall or grassy mound 5m from wall on S side, near two wooden posts.Aye Jimmy08/08/2018
A chance to watch the Pennine Wayers from safe distance.summitter27/05/2017
From Town Yetholm caravan site and followed the ridge around to pick up some hills we don't normally do when we're here i.e. Staerough Sunnyside, Wild Goose and Latchly hills. Not well trod hills, good in parts. Don't suppose we'll do this route again. First to log on here.Walker Dan06/08/2009
