Run from Clachan | CraigW | 04/03/2024 |
Up from the gate near the village hall. Track turns into an ATV track. This can be followed nearly all the way to the bwf close to the summit. Note there are a few sections where the barbed wire is missing. Great views on a rare hot sunny day. | garyhoney | 30/08/2023 |
Parked near school, west along road to small gate with faint path heading up hill by house with some strange looking sheep in garden. Faint path led steeply up to reservoir and then on to marsh to SW of top. Headed uphill to good track and up to trig and HP. Back same way. | PeterD | 17/06/2022 |
Bumped into very friendly landowner on ascent. A glorious day but haze prevented good plotos | Kiltie | 21/04/2022 |
Parked in Ellenabeich. Walked back through the village past the village Hall, through a nearby gate and followed a vehicle track up, then off track steeply up and around above a little valley to the summit. Returned as we'd come, heading across to Dun Mor. | LizH | 31/03/2022 |
From North, through knee deep heather and head high bracken. Probably nicer in spring. Continued rather easier southwards. | Iloveducks | 20/06/2021 |
From Dunmore Farm, took a left up grassy slopes to gate then rough stony track to near summit. | AndrewFinnimore | 11/07/2020 |
Found a path just off the B844 approx SW of summit - path eventually was swamped by bracken, but higher up this cleared - then a grassy approach to summit from which are excellent views. Descended fairly steeply E then walked S (Dunmor). On the ascent, I saw a distant lone figure descending the hillside in a sea of deep bracken - was it Norman? was it Richard? | ger | 24/07/2018 |
Parked in the big car park at Ellenabeich then walked past hall and turned left up a distinct path cleared of bracken. Leaving that got into a real brackenfest. Wrong time of year for this hill but good views on a clear day such as this. | NormanW | 24/07/2018 |
From south, track thru' Dunmor House (farm). Up thru' gap between trees NM 7534 1748, to gate at NM 7537 1760 | carole engel | 18/05/2018 |
4th tump of 9 today afer Easdale Island then a trip to Insh with Adrian then Dun Mor and traverse over. Explored all bumps with several summit contenders before descending steeply, continuing to track where Adrian was waiting with his car for a joint outing to Meall Oban Seil... | Dazingdale | 18/05/2018 |
Trig on short grass in sheep pasture with superb vies. Nearby ridgelet as high.Sunshine. Returned to Ellenabeich carpark via village hall. | Denise | 20/04/2018 |
Up from overnight van camp at Easdale. Round back of old highland arts exhibition place, fenced off so skirted around from Western seaboard CP. Steep up on old grass tracks, weaving contouring lines visiting fine cliffs and rough moors to summit. Back via the fine crag top overlooking our next objective Easdale Island | nordicstar | 15/04/2018 |
Quick up and down via Dunmor Fm. Very steep grassy slopes, trickier down than up. | jonglew | 12/08/2017 |
Made my way via the cliff path then quad tracks from Dun Mor. To make sure I visited every possible hp of several within 50+ m of the trig pillar. | summitsup | 09/08/2017 |
Debs, Goska and Talisker | Mountain Goat | 06/05/2017 |
After Dun Mor, pleasant traverse without too many sudden downs. Good. Back more directly to path which comes from the community centre | Thearlaichdubh | 14/03/2017 |
From Ellenabeich bus stop. Gate at back of craft shop car park now blocked by fence, so took track eastwards past houses to reach the B844: gate on left shortly afterwards gave access to track northwards. Right at fork on to footpath leading to tracks (often faint) towards summit ridge. Return to fork to take westward track above cliffs to Dùn Mòr. | mainnirnamfiadh | 05/09/2015 |
From the farm to the se. Meet Michael Earnshaw on the summit arriving about3 mins after me. | vegibagger | 05/06/2015 |
Short dash up and down, on grassy track, from the gate just W of the Garden. | Eddie | 05/06/2015 |
Survey, minor summit change | alda | 19/03/2015 |
Ellenabeich to North Cuan. Ups & downs from Dun Mor before descent E to track. | Smudge | 09/05/2014 |
With mum and brothers, steep little climb to get onto shoulder from north end, easy pickings across ridge to the top. Views of Mull's southern coast terrific. | Columba | 15/04/2013 |
From Hell'n'back car park, then behind the Highland Art place, through a gate and on to the hill. Returned by following the escarpment and dropping off to the east to a farm track. Added in a quick visit to the P30 top of the remains of Easedale. | Martin R | 27/04/2012 |
Revisit. Fine shapely craggy hill, great sea views. Scrambled up S end of ridge from road but not recommended - easy access from Easdale: NM742173 or 745173. Dun Mor also well worth a visit. | RHW | 26/04/2009 |
walked up with Tim | Skerryvore | 26/12/2008 |
Parked at Dunmor House. Up access road past pheasant pens and steep route around edge of wood, over lush meadow to foot of a steep grassy escarpment. Hands and knees needed at times. To top at 14.15. No cairn. | arranc | 05/10/2005 |
