From the crest of the road, through a stubble field and on to the grassy summit. Gates in the right places so no probs with the electric fences. | fasgadh | 20/09/2023 |
From the north. A field of grass. | Play2End | 14/05/2023 |
Roadside verge parking just N of Calladoone farm. Good mapped track leads up past farm then open pasture. Dipped S for the trig pillar then direct line over good sheep pastures back to Calladoone for the return. | jonglew | 09/02/2023 |
As other from the bend in the road. Went to the trig first then along the ridge to the HP | Andrew Simmons | 21/07/2022 |

From the road to the North. Very muddy tracks and a herd of frisky cows with bull. Also visited the trig. May have lost my car key here in case anyone finds it. | NormanW | 05/11/2021 |
Lockdown revisit, P junc to N and followed track round to Hare Law, then south over top to trig, easy pasture. Fierce wind, bursts of hail, plenty sunshine | agentmancuso | 26/03/2021 |
Parked by sheepfold at Calla Doone Farm - summit of road and strolled up 2 fields to summit ridge. If you visit both summits and the trig it takes about 25 minutes return including photos - superb viewpoint. | Thearlaichdubh | 24/03/2019 |
Gentle walk up track from west. Both sheep and hers of young cows in the summit field. Views rather skittish galloping around as of playing floor! Leader | vegibagger | 09/07/2018 |
parked at gate on bend in the road to the north, visited both tops. | robertphillips | 13/01/2018 |
From Calla Farm. Two summits of similar height. SE top has trig. | Steve511 | 20/06/2017 |
From A70 to the E , not a good plan as the Greenfield Burn runs slow and deep and too wide to leap ! | chalky1953 | 01/04/2015 |
From RH bend to North. Boggy. Both 295m contours but it is pretty flat. | chrisbien | 02/01/2015 |
