All fine and dandy until leaving the forestry track. Perhaps i should have jooked off that at another location. Swampy. Deep peat hags. Not my finest time.VerySlowPlodder20/03/2024
Hired Electric MTB for the day for a few hills accessible from wind farm track. On way back from Beinn an Tuirc and Bord Mor. Left bike near quarry and took a longer route than necessary to top but came back more directly. Great views on a hot clear day.PeterD12/06/2023
12.11 no drive in access others in pat have used. So from 705 282 track up to mast then pushed up through young trees, not very clear rides, eventually better rides and mature trees. Hard work for over km across the plateau. Much easier route down with felled trees north of the stream, which was my route down to the lower forestry road backvegibagger27/05/2023
Drove 40km of logging and wind farm roads for this and a few other hills. Parked to NW at NR 73535 3051. 2.8km up and down over very bad ground mostly; taking SW side of Allt nam Fitheach on the way out, and the much better NE side on the return.jonglew21/05/2023
An out and back from Wind turbine B33. Fairly straightforward not withstanding the expected variations in firm and boggy ground. Slowly slowly back to the mat road near Saddell...Dazingdale13/05/2023
Evening just before sunset from road end Loch Lussa/Corrylach. Up the forest tracks and fire break just after quarry. West side felled, then up spongy heather/moss to summit.N.Morters08/04/2023
Via the quarry at 735 304, rough going but worth it with great views to Arran and Campbeltown. Trig is in a dip which makes it hard to find.DavieRuts05/06/2022
After Beinn an Tuirc. Parked in Nice grassy spot, just before track started to go uphill at around 728313. Walked up the track and around hairpin bend to firebrick (nit far past the quarry). Up RHS of the stream on buts of paths until exited the forest then largely direct line to the summit picking up bits of animal tracks. Returned same route. 3.85 miles, 1hr 39 walking time per Garmin.JulieB21/04/2022
As Gill, but started at top of Lussa Loch after Beinn an Eoin and biked to the gravel track between the felled and unfelled trees.iangalbraith24/01/2022
Drove up to Corrylach where there is a large parking area before the locked gate. Walked around the forestry roads to the stony track, as others. After this, the worst haggy area can be avoided by keeping to a vague heathery ridge heading SE and keeping slightly N of the pointy grassy false top. You soon pick up a faint path through an easy, grassy, mossy strip of bog that leads almost to the summit. The path continues through heather to the top. Note: One of the digger drivers told me that it's actually fine to drive on the forestry/wind farm tracks.Gill13/01/2022
From OS-shown road end at Lussa Loch, on forest tracks to 733303 then up rocky track to summit plateau. Very boggy to summit, then descended across more bog SE to OS-shown track at 748288. Most of these tracks don't exist, but followed winding ATV track across W slopes of Maol a' Chuir to meet large track at 740271.quadbarrel28/05/2021

Tried Carole's access point but refused to drive through an NUV sign and too much re-ascent for cycling. Drove to and up minor road from south as far as NUV sign at Corrylach, then round and up to mast via Tim's key points, cycling as far as foot of stone track. After that, try to find the best way through the hags, tussocks and long heather - good luck, sea views from summit are worth the effort.Topographer5728/05/2019
Excellent drive-able tracks - access point NR 6656 3347. Parked NR 7356 3050. Combined with Beinn An Tuirc - Marilyn - park lay-by NR 7454 3500 just before closed (but unlocked with padlock) gate.carole engel31/03/2019
#654 - From the wind farm 'road' to the north after Bienn an Tuirc. Key points:7353 3050 - Parking opposite quarry which now has gates. 7332 3033 - Start of stone track to transmitter. 7337 2995 - Transmitter mast (which has an anemometer on it and is north-west from the summit)tim74702/11/2018
Forestry track from S end Luisa Loch then up right bank Carfin Glen horrible knee high heather, rushes and tussocky grass to summit trig . Descent N to anemometer mast steep grey stoned track down to NR 740303 where forestry track picked up back round W &S to Carfin Glen with awkward steep sided burn crossing and back to start. Better to drive from N up Beinn an Tuirc wind farm access track N of Bellochantuay to 740303 anemometer mast track or bike there from Gobagrennanm3doc28/07/2018
Used RichardM's route, it's very direct and worked well for me.Chris Peart01/07/2018

Drove along windfarm road from A83 just north of Bellochantuy, turned right at bridge at N end of Loch Lussa and up forest track to park by sand quarry. Up steep stony track to mast and across nasty heathery mossy tussocky stuff to summit.AndrewFinnimore25/06/2017
On way back from Beinn an Tuirc/Bord Mor. Left bike at NR 7333 3030 and followed excellent hard vehicle track steeply up to NR 7340 3000, gets you above the trees, would recommend.jimbloomer17/05/2017
Walk in from the end of the Glen Lussa road. Forest road to NR71931,29407 then good but vegetated track to alt.270m Continue through heather to fire break with old fence which leads easily to hill top. Don't be tempted to go into the forest - it's hard to escape from! A wander over pleasently wild rough grass and heather reaches the summit trig point. Misty today so no views.RichardM29/02/2016
Second hill of the day. Not a great one,jenx08/01/2016

From NR733273 the track heading E then N shown on 1:25K is still in evidence, just! Above the trees (NR739281) a line of old posts leads to a view of the summit ridge fence. Allow plenty of time to work your way on this one!Smudge05/11/2011

Revisit. By fence at bleak misty summit, boggy approach. From forest road NR 719293, choice of 2 tracks E & 2 routes out onto open hill.RHW13/10/2006
First swallow. To end of road at Lussa Loch. Extensive felling had made access a doddle compared with others climbs in the past. On forest road on steady gradient to a smaller track leading towards remaining forest line across devastation of felling and replanting. Up between trees in the end breaking off dead branches to make progress. To a real firebreak which led to right and to open moor at 12.15. Steady plod over tiring springy tussock to cairn on Easach Hill and a further long 1/2 m by old fence posts to top at 13.00. No cairn.arranc26/04/2006
Tortuos route from S of Lussa Loch. Trees, bog and lank heather and just fordable burn. Just as bad on descent. Best of luck.Eddie04/12/2003
Date is first visit. Notes from later...seems fine hill but in cloud, TP missed 24/3/02, found 24/6/02 on 2nd attempt. park c.715285 on (unmapped) forest rd; narrow ride leads +/- direct to summit RHW23/06/2002
