Up the SUW from Melrose. Beautiful beech tree lined track, although somewhat muddy. Fine views towards the Eildons. Returned by alternate route, heading directly South for half a mile, following wall line, then passing to left of hill-top woods, before meeting track heading WSW to rejoin SUW.
