Parked on access road to Langlee Mains Farm, where a good track crosses the road (NT 5024 3623). Track SE leads up to here. Backtracked and up to Darling's Hill. | jonglew | 11/03/2024 |
Up through the woods from the small parking area. | robertphillips | 03/02/2024 |
Walked the full length of Langlee woods, while waiting for garage to finish work on our Delica. From the East, start at unassuming path to the left of a garage lot, at NT 5161 3558. Lovely paths through woods. Never seen so much holly. | Toby-and-Dion | 06/05/2022 |
With Darling's Hill from Galashiels railway station. Excellent path network hereabouts. | hillsman | 21/04/2022 |
Started from B 6374 walked up Ellwyn Cresent then right onto Langlee road until woodland then followed path to the mast. | Andrew Simmons | 06/12/2020 |
A fine descent from Darling with gates in the right places. Galashiels has a good path network. Road up was steep. Men were working on the mast. I knew the descent to Langlee and it was fun as usual. Next across the Tweed for the Cauldshiels pair. | fasgadh | 28/07/2020 |
Small CP NT502362. Open woodland - used track via farm on way out but returned direct - via track at NT507361, to gate, across pasture and thru' wood. | carole engel | 21/03/2020 |
Walked up from Asda Car park | dunx2005 | 24/01/2020 |
Last of the quartet. Not sure where the high point lies, either north or south of the mast | Colin Crawford | 23/09/2017 |
After Darling's Hill, using farmer's tracks to gates etc and dropped down to Langlee Mains Farm. The access road to the mast starts at the corner at 507364. Back down this track to the station. Not much of a view. NB If coming from Gala Station the route is Station Brae, Wylie's Brae, Langlee Brae. The latter 2 are private roads. It would take <30 minutes from train station to summit. | Thearlaichdubh | 04/12/2016 |
