Used the quarry road > around the quarry to the trig and HP | Andrew Simmons | 12/08/2021 |
Parked roadside at quarry entrance, all locked up, quarry looks disused at the moment. Walked up access road to second gate, then sharp left turn and steeply up side of quarry. Took a circuit round the top after bagging hill and trig pillar to have a look at all the mounds - spoil heaps and all lower anyway. | jonglew | 02/03/2021 |
Approached from NE road that goes to Whisgillls. Some crossing of young conifers in bog land then easy pasture to summit where I was approached by farm worker on quad bike, friendly chat ensued. He says they get many folk going for the trig but normally up from the main road. | Adrian | 29/01/2020 |

From gate NY 4632.8176 and directly up hill to L of quarry. Farm hand from Lawston came up on scrambling bike to see what I was up to; friendly enough though. | Aye Jimmy | 28/01/2019 |
