Used tractor tracks to summit.curlebd05/11/2023
From Blaik Law, up and down some hills until a large cowpond. Then up and around a field to the road. Crossed into the wheat field and followed a tram track to the summit.JAdair9723/07/2022
Highside Hill and Black Loch Hill from the road corner to the NE. Verge parking 20m before corner. Neither might be accessible if crops are growing. Keep right of direct line between the two for easier descent avoiding gorse. Summit field ploughed.Minto16/01/2022
Across from Highside dropping down into the valley and up to the high pointAndrew Simmons18/09/2021

Straight across from Highside. Interesting steep sided valley to cross, then up using tractor tracks, then into the brassica field to obvious summit.Thearlaichdubh15/01/2019
Round of Highside and Black Loch from Halls.Topographer5719/12/2018
After Highside. Freshly ploughed field. Back ene via field edges avoiding brassica field, track back to road in steady light rain.RHW28/01/2017
Ran up from farm path that runs along fence line to South. Using OS map and track on it is misleading (does not follow side of wooded area as suggested), so is worth getting off path a little early via gate and following bearing up to nondescript summit.IainHillHunter06/01/2017
Approached from Highside Hill. Summit obvious, whole field planted with a crop so I had to tread gingerly. No sign of the path on descent north east but no problems in staying on its line. A steep drop through the woods gave me a clear track back to the roadColin Crawford20/02/2016
Track from NE to HH. Down to How Burn. Up track then into top field of BLH. Along track to wood then down to try to find the path on map. Found a style but no path - horrendous - eventually a track back to the road. Very hot.chrisbien12/07/2014
