Drove up to Sibbaldieside (to SE of hill). Friendly farmer gave permission to park and even walk through his young crop of Triticale (hybrid of wheat/rye). However, felt guilty and walked back on tramlines. Enter field at end of mapped track southern corner and pick up tramline at NY 3602 8799 which passes close to summit. | carole engel | 10/07/2021 |
Approached from Auchendoddon forest. | Adrian | 09/11/2020 |
Roadside verge parking (NY 1437 8853). Fairly direct SW route to it; gate, 2 fences. Cattle country, some feisty beasts but no trouble from them. Summit in an arable field but crop (if it was that) was a grass of some sort, likely for sillage. | jonglew | 08/08/2020 |

Up field from track to the south east and across to field. Many birds and Bird feeders all round the east side of top of hill area near house. Called at house Sibbaldbieside to ask permission to oak my car for 15/20 mins.
concerned initially about disturbance to the birds, but eventually suggested I go up the field insured of the track where there were Bird feeders, so that's what I agreed to do. Trouble free after that. | vegibagger | 09/08/2015 |
