2 of 4 on a round with L from Tony's house. Paths , signs and steps to the summit seat.City hills such as this are always good value being an oasis of nature, with so much to see from a lofty perch. Murrayfield is prominent to the north where people regularly pack themselves together voluntarily, and also Edinburgh prison - constantly packed, less voluntarily. A sad medical report out just this week highlights the overwhelming majority of prisoners have had a previous head injury and unaddressed long term mental health issues. The naked rambler (Stephen Gough) has spent many sentences / years in this prison, often removing his clothes as soon as being released, and re-arrested. | Chris Pearson | 13/08/2019 |
