Up the path from Macmerry. Then walked to Carberry Hill, mostly along the high-spec Pencaitland Railway Walk (orange dotted line on the 1:25000).Pete R25/04/2018
No 104 bus from Edinburgh to Macmerry and then pleasant signed path to wood, then blunder in the bracken to seek a high point. On way back great views of Lomond hills to N, on lovely cold clear day. Also got within 5m of trig which is fenced inside reservoir behind MacmerryThearlaichdubh11/12/2017
