Great weather using the Braveheart organised by Brian C. 1:25000 map sows rail tracks on island, these are a part of haul route to lighthouse now disusedcjo15/04/2023
Only successful landing on a 24-hour round trip from the frozen south. Fruit tea provided by nordicstar was much appreciated.Smudge03/02/2019
Not the best day for island bagging.jenx03/02/2019
From N Berwick in a biting cold wind. Not possible to land Cragleith and sheltered landing at Fidra saved the day. Didn’t hang around long in the cold, back to port to warm up!nordicstar03/02/2019
bass rock, fidra, craigleith, from north berwick with some good company, and thanks to alan and boat crew.robertphillips20/01/2019
Thanks to Alan and the skipper and crew of Braveheart. 7 of us - bass Rock - Fidra then Craigleith.chrisbien20/01/2019

Via MV Braveheart from North Berwick at HW. easy landging using old lighthouse jetty and then straightforward walk over bird free nesting area to obvious summit with steep drop one side. Thanks to Alan H for arranging. Pleased to help Colin celebrate his E Lothian completion.Denise 19/01/2019
Easy pier landing, from Braveheart. Summit SE of lighthouse with sheer drop to sea. Colin's final East Lothian P30 with cake and whisky. After a 2 year wait, thanks to AlanH for organisingRHW19/01/2019
Thanks for the organisation Alan. And, eventually, East Lothian completedColin Crawford19/01/2019
Easy landing on the concrete light house jetty on E side of island. Un-marked high point of rock breaking throgh grass with fine cliffs dropping away to the N. Glenlivet Malt and cake in celebration of Colin's final East Lothian Tump.RichardM19/01/2019
After Craigleith using MV Braveheart on trip organised by Alan Holmes. Nice jetty and panoramic lighthouse on a cold, sunny winter's day.Thearlaichdubh19/12/2018
As described by others in the A-Team. Tide too high to walk to South Dog. Memorable day - making shadows on the lighthouse wall. Oh, and BBRW !Minto19/12/2018
As others.Topographer5719/12/2018
On a trip organised by Alan Holmes and using the boat “Braveheart”. Thank you, Alan. Beautiful weather for a trip to Fidra and Craigleith from North Berwick.pwbellarby19/12/2018
Bagged before Rob Woodall and Alan Holmes but not George Morl.Dugswell219/12/2018
Second visit. This time no way of getting to South Dog.NormanW19/12/2018
In conjunction with Craigleith. An island with lots of character on a superb December morning.Campbell Singer19/12/2018
Paddled out from North Berwick. Craigleith and Lamb first. Landed on gently shelving sand at SW end of South Dog. 45 mins after low tide and N and S Dog still one island. South Dog looks impressive, but an easy walk up on its SW side.jonglew29/10/2018
Sailed out into head wind on 'Braveheart' with nine other baggers. Impressive rock architecture! N Dog is the Sib/Tump (p33). S Dog is a Siblet (P22). Ascent of S Dog is by a spiral route, almost a staircase - tide conditions were such that it was possible to walk between the Dogs.ger12/09/2018
From North Berwick on the Braveheart. The promised decrease in wind speed didn't happen so a bit stormy and later on prevented a landing on nearby Craigleith.NormanW12/09/2018
Easy walk up to lighthouse and summit after having been to summit of tidal siblet to the south. Thanks to Alan Holmes for organising the boat Braveheart to take us out from North Berwick. Sea too rough for landing us on Craigleith today but Fidra was fine due to its sheltered pier on East side of island (swell/waves coming from the west).assynt_bob12/09/2018
