Logged Descriptions  (logged by 15 users)ByDate of Ascent
From road to south, vague path and open gates after the first gate with barbed wire. One side of the wall has a picnic table, the other a bench, with well placed stones to make crossing the wall easy, so access seems acceptedColin Crawford02/09/2023
Up from road junction to SW. One fence easily crossed. Down horse track between fences to NW. No fences or gates, meeting road by stables.Minto01/12/2022
Parked on verge of minor road B37 ( near junction with A24) and then walked up grassy field to stone wall at summit. Bench one side and picnic table the other- good view point. Per Abney HP is on NW side of wall 7 paces from wall on rock outcrop, apparently recently cleared of gorse. Nb lower slopes of hill on other side of wall have gorse.Denise 23/09/2022
Open gate and then path all way. Look at google aerial photosJK19/08/2022

From road junction to SE. Accosted by owner of horse field and his supporters astride a \'high horse\'. We explained Dugswell was a vet. Didn\'t mention I ate them on French visits. Fairly unpleasant experience.jimbloomer14/04/2013
Opened gate to enter empty field to climb up to dry stone wall near summit. Suddenly surrounded by four energetic horses which we ignored all the way back to the car with Jim Bloomer and Michael Earnshaw. http://www.flickr.com/photos/79063372@N04/8661412972/in/photostream/Dugswell214/04/2013
