After Cronk na Arrey. Obvious grassy tumulus in corner of grassy field. Sheeting rain and strong wind. Returned to road via gates, no fences, on farm track which goes SW . Bluebell Cottageis the last house ( Ie SW end) of several that uses this track so less private than some although it ends ( NE end) in a farm yard. | Denise | 30/09/2022 |

Track from SW to Kionlough. At end of track and buildings, sharp left along out-buildings. Right thru' gate, then obvious gates to lovely green mound summit | carole engel | 06/09/2018 |
5th and final top of the day on a 26.3km route from Jurby Industrial Estate to Ramsey, climbing Cronk ny Arrey Laa (p28) Knock-e-Dooney, West Kimmeragh before stopping in Bride at the Tea rooms then heading over to Cronk ny Arrey Laa using gates and fences wherever possible to reach the summit mound/tumulus with embedded gleaming white Quarzite rock. I recorded 72m @ SC 45464 99404 before heading SE to follow the cliff edge Ssw, veering off to follow a vegetated gully that emerged at the shoreline, difficult going but I was committed so stuck it out. Pleasant route along the beach into Ramsey via Mooragh park to finish at the bus station for a return bus to Douglas. | Dazingdale | 15/07/2018 |
15.45 Stan, an ex insurance broker took me to his local tumulus accompanied by a hand lamb that ran up to him the moment we went into the field, that he'd been hand rating since its mum rejected feeding it. | vegibagger | 23/07/2016 |
