Car at Dolhendre Isaf - RoW via Ty Coch & Graig ddu - RoW N to ladder stile 847.301 an ATV track climbs to the base of the crag, leaving an easy scramble to the top of Foel y Craig. Tough descent to fold 838.295 to pick up an ATV track onto the plateau and a Heather bash to Craig yL. Rough descent to RoW at 832.300 and a climb through the crags in Heather onto the plateau then a tough traverse of the blanket bog to Craig Dolfudr. Parked on rough track beyond the end of no through road at 84441 31029. Up to Dyrysgol then on to Foel y Graig, across to Craig y Llestri. From the bridge over Afon Lliw near Dolhendre Isaf. Took the lanes SW and W to the bridge over Afon Fwy. Then took track up north flank of Carn Dochan and to the summit to view the archaeological excavations.
