Car at Dolhendre Isaf - RoW via Ty Coch & Graig ddu - RoW N to ladder stile 847.301 an ATV track climbs to the base of the crag, leaving an easy scramble to the top of Foel y Craig. Tough descent to fold 838.295 to pick up an ATV track onto the plateau and a Heather bash to Craig yL. Rough descent to RoW at 832.300 and a climb through the crags in Heather onto the plateau then a tough traverse of the blanket bog to Craig Dolfudr. A trod links to CD N top then a good path from the col 824.314 to Craig-y-tan and road to car.Moorponder07/07/2023
Parked on rough track beyond the end of no through road at 84441 31029. Up to Dyrysgol then on to Foel y Graig, across to Craig y Llestri. Tough going and very few paths except back down from Craig y Llestri. A lot of bilberry and bog bashing. It took 3 hours to do 5 miles.clivevilla26/06/2023

From the bridge over Afon Lliw near Dolhendre Isaf. Took the lanes SW and W to the bridge over Afon Fwy. Then took track up north flank of Carn Dochan and to the summit to view the archaeological excavations. Then followed the wall west (best going on north side), then through a gap and up through thick heather to the summit. Walk continued to Dyrysgol. With AW.Man of Kernow116/07/2017
